George Floyd’s murder ignited massive protests in France and renewed anger over the death of 24-year-old Adama Traoré, who died by the hands of French police.
The French people are reckoning with their history of police brutality and racism towards the Black and Arab minority, a community that was invited to come at the end of World War II to take on working class jobs.
VICE follows host Hanna Thedros( @hannathedros ) as she attends a march in honor of Adama and explores why there is such silence around the topic of racism -- from the French President to the French media.
