In our September 2020 issue, we caught up with @nathaliefarmanfarma, a textile designer and author of "Décors Barbares: The Enchanting Interiors of Nathalie Farman-Farma" (@vendomepress)—a design book filled with photos of her London home and studio. In a sitting area of the studio, a sofa is topped with a Persian kilim and pillows in Swedish, Romanian, and Persian textiles from Farman-Farma’s collection. The chair is from the late designer Madeleine Castaing’s shop in Paris. The window curtains are trimmed with antique Russian Vologda lace, and the draperies around the doorway are of an Italian brocade by @antico_setificio_fiorentino.
