The low knot is a backup in case my grigri fails. I use a jumar w/ attached carabiner to run the rope through and easily jug up. It’s a little spooky falling on the grigri but everything is very safe 😊 minus the tree slap... but the tree was there first, so 💁🏻‍♀️ respect!! .
