We visited The Louis Armstrong House in Queens, NY, home of the musician from 1943 until his death in 1971, with an Armstrong trumpet we're offering in The Exceptional Sale on 14 October.

This Selmer Model 19 trumpet was likely used on The California Concerts, a live album he recorded in 1951 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, and is accompanied by a cotton handkerchief owned by the musician.
