Rémy Martin celebrates the power of collaboration with ceramic artist Reiko Kaneko and The Connaught’s award-winning bar team.

Kaneko worked closely with The Connaught’s Director of Mixology, Agostino Perrone and the Connaught Bar Head of Mixology, Giorgio Bargiani, using Rémy Martin XO as the starting point for a new cocktail and a specially-created vessel. Perrone and Bargiani visited the artist at her London workshop, learning about her craft and experiencing the creative process first hand. ‘Working with technology as well, to visualise the vessel, was amazing: from abstract to liquid, to solid,’ says Perrone. ‘This project was very much a creative process, we were part of it. And the final shape of the vessel was really Reiko understanding our vision and embracing it.’

The vessel created by Kaneko will be used to serve Flint, a new cocktail using Rèmy Martin XO and exclusively available at The Connaught.
