Meet the designers of tomorrow.
Today, Wallpaper* and @ahec_europe present Discovered, a platform to promote and support design’s next generation in partnership with the @designmuseum.
20 global designers have been invited each to create a new piece inspired by the experience of working in isolation and life in a pandemic-hit world. Working in American maple, cherry and red oak, each designer will create a piece highlighting the functional and emotional connections to our everyday objects, and the designs will be produced in collaboration with AHEC’s global manufacturing partners.
The designers’ works will be unveiled in Wallpaper* and on display at the The Design Museum, London, in 2021.
