Here’s our quick guide to four of our favourite wine regions:⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ ☀️ The sun-drenched Okanagan Valley in British Columbia is home to over 120 world-class wineries, with endless varieties sip. If wine isn’t your thing, the area is also well-known for its local fruit stands and cideries too!⁠⠀ 🍾 The Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, has 18 different wineries offering the unique flavours distinct to this cooler wine climate. This region even has a signature wine, Tidal Bay, and was one of the first areas to cultivate grapes in North America in the 1600s.⁠⠀ 🍷 The Cowichan Valley is in the southwest portion of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Here, vineyards have spurred a whole culinary movement, with top-quality food, beer and more being produced. Popular wine varieties from this region include pinot noir and pinot gris, as well as sparkling and fruit wines all grown by small, family-owned operations.⁠⠀ 🍇 Renowned for its breathtaking scenery as well as its robust and flavourful wines, the Niagara Peninsula is one of Canada’s most well-known wine regions.
