Where: Bismarck Monument in Tiergarten.
In the summer of 1979, Newton was sent to Berlin by German Vogue. His wife June came up with the idea of revisiting spots Newton cherished during his youth, including the Tiergarten. There, he shot his iconic picture “Young Woman and Bismarck Monument, Berlin”.
For the October issue of Vogue Italia, @Mark_Peckmezian photographed a portfolio of women styled by @Tom_Guinness at various locations in Berlin associated with Newton’s life.
