サッシャ・ディギーリアンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (サッシャ・ディギーリアンInstagram)「I have spent a couple summers climbing in the Lander, WY region. The community here has absolutely touched my heart in a very special way. My first time visiting Wolf Point was right before my Dad passed away. I remember blindly flying out to Lander, WY, and staying with Brian and Mandy Fable @climbersfestival - where I then quickly became friends and climbing partners with Inge Perkins, along with @dbcash @bjtilden @liz.lightner @samlightnerjr , Randy, and the two Kyles, along with a collection of very special people. The day after this photo was taken, my mom called me from the ambulance in Alexandria, VA, where my dad had just suffered from a hemorrhagic stroke in the living room of my childhood home. I flew home on the next flight I could get, and joined my family at the hospital. My dad never woke up from this stroke, which had caused excessive bleeding to his brain. A couple weeks after his funeral, I chose to return to Lander. It’s hard to explain, but the community here quickly had left such a strong imprint in my heart, and it is where I yearned to return to heal. I spoke about my dad for the first time at the Climber’s Fest that summer. - Wolf Point resembles so much more than an incredible, wild place to climb.
