Learning how to breathe deeply and properly has greatly contributed to my recovery.
You don’t have to do yoga to learn to breathe, it only takes a few minutes a day of practice. But it lowers your heart rate and engages your parasympathetic nervous system. For someone like me, running on high a lot of the time, it’s a very simple and effective way to reset 👌
We take 20,000ish breaths a day, I try just make a few of them work for me 🌬
