"In California ... the water will end," says Brazilian artist and @tedfellow Mundano (@mundano_sp). "And I’m not talking about the water that we will leave for our children, but the water we need next year." Laguna Lake, in San Luis Obispo, California, is littered with evidence of a once-thriving community — houses, piers and boats. In 2015, the area had its worst drought in 1,200 years, due in part to fracking, the water-guzzling practice of extracting fossil fuels. Mundano toured the state and made eye-opening images like this one to highlight the real threat of water scarcity.
