You can’t see people’s mental health. And most of the time it’s still a taboo to even open up or talk about it. Bc if you can’t see it, it’s not there.. right?🤓 I’ve never been good at hiding my emotions and I can’t act like I’m fine on IG while I’m just not. I’ve decided to open up on every channel I have about it. Not to raise pity, but to raise awareness around mental health in general. Plus it really helps me if I can freely be myself and help others with that in the process.🌸

I had to learn that putting myself first, doesn’t mean that I’m selfish. It’s actually just taking care of my mental health and wanting to make a positive change. I’ve had anxiety attacks the last few weeks just bc I have been putting most of my raw feelings away for years- which need to come out someday.. apparently that’s now😅 I always thought I needed to be strong and ready for anyone else whenever they needed me. On social media, television, friends, family. Ive always put myself aside.

Everyone is human and so am I. Please never let numbers on social media let you believe that bad days for that certain person don’t exist. They are just not sharing it. And that’s a problem to me because it’s a part of realistic life that’s been put under the table for way too long. Let’s make mental health a normal topic to talk about, for all people, not just the online side of life.

If you’re in that bad place right now.. know you are not alone. You are loved, you are worth it. Reach out for help if you want to. It could be a friend, family or a therapist.
