A moment of Zen along the East to West bikepacking route- Day 6. This has been the best weather window I have ever seen in Iceland in my life. After 43 trips I still cannot believe we managed to dodge the heinous winds, rain & fog that can plague this place.So far.. so good. The Kjölur valley has been my favorite hut/ hot spring along the route . The goal was to travel between huts along the route that farmers & sheep herders would travel by horse.
