Soaked some navy beans last night without knowing exactly what I was going to do with them. Originally thought I would cook it with some thyme, garlic and onions...more 🇫🇷 direction. Then realized I had a ton of kimchi scraps and frozen kimchi liquid so decided to make some version of 🇰🇷 kong bi ji jigae (ground soybean stew). My mom used to make this dish with the leftover ground soybeans when she made soy milk. This is a @graceseo favorite dish. Not technically kong bi ji...feels more like a lazy kimchi cassoulet #fusion
