マリヤ・コロレバさんのインスタグラム写真 - (マリヤ・コロレバInstagram)「The one about the nip slip... 😱 ⋆ To start off my #MKOlympicStories series, I thoughts I’d first tell you a pre-Olympic story that I think is pretty hilarious. ⋆ We were at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto and Ali and I were competing in the free duet competition. Everything was as usual, we walked out on deck, did our deck work, and dove in 💦 ⋆ AS SOON as we dove in, the left side of my swim suit unclipped 🙈 and my left boob was totally exposed!! 😱 (see fourth photo) Typically right before we walk out to compete, I ask a teammate to check that the buckle is “overhooked” to avoid this exact scenario. I don’t remember if I did this or not before that swim, but I’ve NEVER experienced this before so it was a total shock 🤯 ⋆ I was freaking out for the duration of the routine 😩 in synchro there’s not much transition time between the upside down hybrids and the upright arm strokes, so before every sit-up I was desperately trying to pull up the left side of my suit so that I didn’t flash the judges! 👀 ⋆ Needless to say I don’t remember anything about that swim other than worrying about my suit. It was SO STRESSFUL 😂 but luckily we didn’t hear of anyone noticing anything during the swim. ⋆ As we were getting out of the pool I asked Ali to clip my suit so when we got our scores (first photo) everything looked normal! After that swim I was SO paranoid about my suit being overhooked but it never happened again! ⋆ Synchro swimmers, has this ever happened to you??
