The flag-draped casket of Rep. John Lewis arrived at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., on July 27, where he will lie in state as lawmakers pay tribute to the civil rights icon and longtime Georgia Congressman. Lewis, who died at 80 on July 17, becomes the first Black lawmaker to lie in state in the Rotunda, the Associated Press reports. Later, a public viewing would take place outside.
