Healthy benefits are at the heart of the Callicoon Riverside Park project in Callicoon, NY. Public recreational opportunities are few and far between in Callicoon, and by providing access to 47.5 acres of forest and fields and 4,000 feet of riverfront, this park project will create a critical new public access point on the Upper Delaware River – the only county park with direct access. New trails and other outdoor amenities will offer the community even more ways to enjoy the outdoors. This year’s three award winners bring us closer to the goal of providing access to a quality park within a 10-minute walk of every person in America.
