Photo by @daisygilardini Eastern Greenland's Scoresby Sound is one of the biggest fjord systems in the world. Its main body is 110 kilometers (70 miles) long and spreads out into a series of side fjords and islets that cover some 38,000 square kilometers (15,000 square miles).
The large glaciers found all along these fjords produce a massive amount of icebergs that are particularly active, as the system creates its own circular gyre currents. As a result, the icebergs are constantly moving as they're flushed out into open water. #Greenland #icebergs #glaciers #climatechange
