GOLDEN STATE I was so inspired by @edward_enninful and his incredible August #reset issue of @British Vogue I just had to be a part of his #reset2020 #voguechallenge In nature is where I am my absolute happiest, and being raised most of my life in California the rugged terrain here reverberates through my being no matter how far away from home I go. From the desert, to these coastal mountains in Julian Ca, where I took these photos, to the ancient redwoods where I spent my childhood learning about the forest ecosystem, kissing banana slugs and swimming in hidden watering holes. My spirit is consistently fed by the coastal landscape of my beloved, rugged golden state. So much to process right now and I can’t think of a better way or place to do it than in the arms of our Mother Earth. ♥️💄 #rachelgoodwinmakeup
