After her heart catheterization & biopsy taken two days ago, they’ve discovered her heart is not failing due to a virus/infection and there’s no signs of inflammation like they’ve been thinking for the past 45 days. They did find, however, her coronary artery is severely small and being pinched in between other areas of her heart and needs intervention. While they’re in there, they also want to fix her previous heart issues that she’s had since birth (small left pulmonary & tiny hole between her top chambers. These two have never caused severe issues but they think fixing everything they can will just improve the hearts function over all to help it repair itself more easily.) So... this means... open heart surgery. Yep. The big three scary words, no parent ever wants to hear. If you had told us two months ago that Rosie needed this, we’d be absolutely hysterical and angry and absolutely miserable. After everything Rosie has been through and endured, we are ecstatic for her to finally be HEALED. (Keep in mind, most doctors have been waving a heart transplant in our faces for weeks now. Literally taking this heart from her and replacing it if things didn’t progress within the next few weeks) & while we’re so happy to finally be here, for her to finally be healed, for there to finally be an end in sight, for us to finally go HOME, we are also very human and we’re selfish and we want absolutely nothing to happen to our baby. While processing all these BIG emotions & scenarios, we’ve learned that this is no longer our fight. & It’s really never been our fight to begin with. This is up to Rosie. This her choice now. We will just be her cheerleaders, standing on the side lines and watching her magnificence unfold. We are surrendering ourselves to her truth, the universe’s plan, and loving sweet Rosie girl every second of everyday. ❤️」7月9日 13時22分
