I always feel guilty for my happiness & feel as though I should only be living in my sadness or else I’m a bad mom. The beautiful thing about human emotions is that they are never limited. They can flow in & out, ever changing, over top of one another, and co-exist perfectly. I am happy. I’m happy when I’m playing with Rosie. I’m happy knowing she’s MY daughter. I’m happy being by her side. I’m happy exploring a new city with Brinley. Im happy listening to all the silly new things Brinley is saying. I’m happy that I’m getting alone time with Jairus. Im happy that our relationship is so strong right now. I’m happy when I try new restaurants. I’m happy playing with my makeup. Im happy that I’m having such an amazing & healthy pregnancy and I’m only three months away from meeting our sweet boy. I’m happy that I get to experience this experience and gain so much information & knowledge everyday. I will never apologize for my happiness even if it seems abnormal to some.
