Waterfalls flow from everywhere, as if the land is bursting with its own beauty. This small area, known as Kirkjufell, is part of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. They say if you don’t have a lot of time, circle the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and you’ll see much of what Iceland has to offer. One of the things I find funniest about modern travel is that every point on Google Maps has reviews—even mountains. How do you review a piece of land? Well, many have used words such as beautiful, amazing, and stunning to describe this area. But you can’t please everyone. The mountain has a single one-star review: “Waste of a stop.
