One thing I’m hyper aware of though, is the need for broader structural change if we are to radically turn around the inequalities in this nation.⁣ ⁣ Hearty acts of solidarity are profound and needed, but what we need even more is self-education and strategic shifts within leadership and organisations.⁣ ⁣ If you’re in a position of privilege or power, I encourage you to do your own research on the truth of our nation’s history, to undertake cultural competency training and decolonisation training.
