"I like playing with contrast," says designer Sig Bergamin when describing his colorful and eccentric Paris pied-à-terre. "When you mix black and white with orange, for example, it pops—it gets shocking! Or as we say in Brazil, it 'gives good samba.'" In a corner of the living room is a 1940s desk with a lamp by Gae Aulenti, the 19th-century cabinet is French, the commode by @jansen_furniture was bought in Buenos Aires, and the large portrait is by Luiz Paulo Baravelli.
