PART 2/3 All of you know what my hair looks, I was often taunted and teased as a kid by my peers as well as random strangers. With everything going on in the world, it is impossible to turn a blind eye. I feel like now, more than ever I can come out and say how I feel. I am tired of feeling ashamed of my skin color, tired of having my heart drop when a police officer pulls in back of my vehicle and I hope that one day it will not be a disadvantage or crime to be “born black.”
