Im taking a min here for a bit of self-reflection • If you know me, you know that I always have a 'thank you, next' mentality. Don't dwell. Onto the next one • I think post training block/post event is always a moment in time for me to stop and reflect before figuring out what is actually next.. (FYI I already know what my next is) But. Reflections for a min • Isolation has been weird af. And I know this is all far from being over. I've had some thoughts collecting. They need to escape • In some ways I feel like it has been really good for me; Less going on in my life. I've had more time to dedicate and focus on my own training for the first time since... 2010, when all I used to do was train • Other nights I have cried myself to sleep over not being able to be 'with' my friends. I love my people SFM •Training in isolation proved to be quite a plus for me. I'm more focused on my own. I can't just constantly chat my whole way through a session, I can't get over-excited by being amongst the people. So that's something to note • Yet somehow the shared experience of running / training in isolation left me feeling  MORE connected than before • There's an underlying stress that my work hours have lessened. And who knows what the next few months will look like. I take comfort in the fact that NOTHING IS PERMANENT • Also if you know me you'll know that this is approx .056% of the thoughts I have every hour. I'll wrap it up here for now • But I found this quote from @theatlantic. I love it. I have no idea if it actually relates to the above thoughts I've had, it makes sense in my head. I also didn't just want to post a photo and inspirational quote.
