Man oh man I’ve learned a lot about what I thought ultimate success was supposed to feel like over the years..and what true success actually means to me. . Nobody else can define it for you. But so often we only feel successful when other ppl think we are. . . It’s not a dollar sign. It’s not a title. It’s not how many friends show up to your birthday party . It’s not what you “conquered” or who’s in your rolodex. It’s definitely not how many likes or followers you have. It’s not having ppl telling you how amazing, smart or beautiful you are. . . While these are all great things - none of them mean shit when you can’t FEEL love. For yourself first. When you can’t find peace in your own silence. When your word or presence can’t be counted on. In my experience, when you can’t find these things..the empty search continues in all the places that can never fill your cup. . Not sure why I felt this ramble but for whoever needs to hear it. Remember everyone has their own battles. The inner battles you face take the most courage. With far less distractions you may be looking straight at em right now.
