April 24, 1915 the people of Armenia endured a brutal genocide by the hands of the Turkish government. Though this atrocity happened 105 years ago the wounds of the past are still left open to bleed by denial. I am neither Armenian or Turkish by decent, and I admittedly can never fully understand the people inheriting both sides of this tragedy. But I do know passing on love, forgiveness, and knowledge to our children far surpasses charging them with the task of carrying hate and denial from their generation to the next.
