Like when I have it on, it‘s gasping for lace gloves and a Sunday Best hat - But I bought it on account of its cheerful print out in Palm Springs at @thefineartofdesign when I was stumbling around, like a loose wheel, rolling as an unattached person again, with my friends @yoonion and @creamofgold out there to keep Nico and me company - One look at this print makes the mind meander to that much appreciated gesture of a friend’s kindness, to hearty shared meals, to the open expanses of desert, sky and palms and to Sharon van Etten’s Jupiter 4 under an assured night sky. So full, so infinite, so worth absorbing. - And now, the mind creeps again. Our parameters for what is worth absorbing have changed in isolation. You don’t want to allow yourself to wallow in before lockdown memories - because it feels overly indulgent.
