The Googie "coffee shop" sign and prime corner placement made Swingers diner one of the most visible and iconic restaurant locations in the city. The diner sported classic midcentury coffee shop vibes and a wide menu that people mostly forgot about. But there was something about it that resonated with Angelenos who can remember the 90s in LA.
