They are putting themselves at risk to help others, and then they come home and risk infecting their children because they haven’t had the supplies they need. Can you imagine how scary that must be? First Responders opened 3 daycare centers this week to help take care of the kids while the nurses are in the hospitals taking care of patients during this crisis. First Responders was formed to help frontline healthcare workers step forward to address this epic public health challenge, their own health is threatened because of shortages in personal protective equipment including gowns, gloves, and masks. #FirstRespondersFirst, in partnership with the Entertainment Industry Foundation, is launching a fundraising call to action to help address these needs.
