A few years before social distancing was taking place my partner @flytetymelewis and I had the honor and pleasure to speak at the Hollywood Walk Of Fame Ceremony honoring The Black Godfather Clarence Avant. Needless to say he brought the best together to celebrate that day and one of my favorite parts was hanging with the legendary Bill Withers who Clarence had signed to his legendary Sussex Records label in the 70’s. Words wouldn’t do justice to explain my feelings for Bill and his influence on my musical life so I won’t try.
