村上隆さんのインスタグラム写真 - (村上隆Instagram)「Yesterday I had a video conference with Futura @futuradosmil , Sky @skygellatly , Fed @fedtan , Yuko @tabi_the_fat , and Takumi Kaseno @t_kaseno . We have been planning Futura’s solo show at our Kaikai Kiki Gallery @kaikaikikigallery to coincide with this year’s (now-postponed) Olympics in Tokyo, and the meeting was to discuss what to do under the current circumstance. As I got to know Futura over the past year, I have been impressed by his kindness and compassion. During our conversation yesterday, too, he kept expressing his concerns over our physical and mental states and repeatedly asked after us. A contemporary of Keith Haring and Basquiat, he is a graffiti artist worthy of becoming a legend himself, and yet he is always so frank and considerate. I am so moved. His manager Sky's attention to detail is also impressive; he is full of ideas, coming up with a number of plans for us. I have yet to catch up with their amazing speed and momentum, barely keeping up with their lead. Though it was impossible to make any immediate decisions under the current turbulent and fluid situation about whether to go forward with the exhibition or how to proceed with our projects, we got to discuss important concepts.
