It is one of the most spectacular (and quiet!) places you can find in the middle of the city. You might also recognize it from the movie “Ghostbusters”! The room was closed to the public for two years, from 2014 to 2016, because repairs were necessary for the ornate roof. The roof contains massive gilded roses that had to be reinforced, as one of them fell from the ceiling in the middle of the night. Today, the room is back to being open to the public every day.
