WATCH UNTIL THE END 💦 Rainy day today at the ski station, I was talking to a lady about the weather and I said: well, it’s nature... she answered: « yeah, it makes you think about humiliation » I replied: « do you mean humility? » yeah right, humility, that’s what I meant 🙃... And It made me think about how in our society, humility is often seen as something that could put us in a place of feeling humiliated, of feeling not good enough, not pretty enough, not smart enough, not funny enough, not strong enough. I went to this yoga class once at a very well know studio in Paris, at the end of the class, I was made to know that the owner of this yoga chain business had been very clear about the fact that she did NOT want me to come to her studios. My first thought was «well, not a very YOGIC behavior » and then I felt humiliated, it hurt, it really did. For days I was in a kind of low about this and then I found love and compassion to leave it behind. For the longest time women were made to think we were threats to each other. I am so happy this is changing and to have the chance to be surrounded by amazing woman who make me feel humble in front of their intelligence, their power, their inner beauty and strength ! Humility only makes me stronger. Humility connects me deeper and deeper to my true nature, to act from love and compassion. Humility makes me feel so incredibly grateful for everything I know and, oh God, everything there is to learn. I guess I just wanted to say... HUMILITY ROCKS!!!
