As a new decade comes into play (have entered 2020 and also begun my 30s), I have been reflecting back on the previous one and feeling all the highs and lows that were present. To process this information was emotional yet empowering. Sometimes I question why I boulder or climb for that matter? Why I go out into arctic conditions, wreck my body, split my fingertips, and suffer for a brief moment of bliss? All I can come up with is that what I do is an addiction. If I do not have it, then I do not feel alive and this leaves me depressed. I need challenging projects that give me a reason to make myself stronger, rise above, and prove that I am capable of sending them. _____________________________________________ My friend @tchadx showed me a line in Eldo a couple years back that offered this next level challenge. I established a 10 move stand start dubbed "Tron" clockin in at v14 (8B+). The sit-start into the stand adds 7 moves of solid v15 (8C) with no rest. Mini links have been made in the lower portion of the line, but I am looking for that full link into the stand for now. What comes next is connecting the two problems together for the full send.
