'The Force Majeure'

Took a break from the rocks and went to @carlodenali new gym in Sacramento, CA @theboulderfield for a comp. The event featured a new kinda format for finals which I was really into. We had 6 final climbs and 1 hour to complete as many as possible (no iso, we were all just sessioning together). An amount of points was awarded based on what ascent of the bloc you got (1st asc. 1000 pts, 2nd 750, 3rd 600 etc). The theme of the comp was straight forward power climbs (though there were a couple slabs haha... guess they were power slabs). I ended up 2nd next to @joseph_diaz2 and @ross.fulkerson. This vid was my fav bloc of the event and only ascent. I still need to up my slab game 🤷‍♂️. Huge shout out to @carlodenali @theboulderfield @tbfmasters @jwebxl @ramrod92 and everyone else who made this event possible.
