I started with figuring out the outcomes I wanted and then worked back from there. I reviewed what came before because that informs what needs to come next and what’s no longer relevant. That means doing some of my favorite activities: research and reading. Comfort dressing is a requirement so I might move freely and without constraint. Being a performative professor meant I attended to where I worked, the tools and supplies I used and tokens and rituals that made the work extra exciting. The book I’m reading here is “Fantasies of the Library”, it imagines the library as both keeper of books and curator of ideas.
