When my significantly heavier climbing partner is falling, I don’t get wrenched into the first bolt when we use the Edelrid OHM. I feel safe, because this device compensates the weight difference. ✌️But on the contrary, I had already unlucky falls when a heavier partner belayed me!!! 🙈 This may sounds strange for you. But in fact, when I fall I sometimes crash against the wall, because my belayer isn’t aware that a lighter climber doesn’t cause much friction when falling and needs to belay more dynamically.
