For 17 years @adidas Running and I have sought to change the game, for athletes all around the world. @adidas became my first sponsor as a professional athlete, when I was just a teenage girl in high school. @adidas were among the first people to believe, that one day, I would rise to become the best athlete in the world 🌍 I’m proud to have played a role in the @adidas Women movement, to show young girls around the world that they can aspire to be anything they want. I would like to acknowledge the tremendous support that @adidas Running has given to me for nearly two decades, and the friendship we will continue to share into the future. Two Adidas executives in particular I need to acknowledge - @spencer.nel (Director of Global Sports Marketing for Track and Field) and Fabian Schweizer (Athlete Services Manager). Through the highs and lows, you both have always been by my side, and any athlete would be lucky to have you cheering for them in the grand stands. I’ll always be part of the @adidas Running family and look forward to building on our friendship in the years to come 🙏 In 2020 though, we’re changing gears. An opportunity has presented itself to do something incredibly special. That will allow me to deepen my connection with girls and women everywhere, and impact the apparel industry in a way I have never done before. Announcement coming soon.
