To say this decade has been life-changing for me would be a significant understatement! While I could not be more excited at what 2020 and beyond promises to be, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the past ten years. Multiple world championships, global track meets, national titles, and of course, becoming an @オリンピック gold medallist. Coming into the 2012 London Olympics, I had won 32 races from 34 starts. With the weight of a nation on my shoulders, one of my key focuses was to turn in a performance @Australia could be proud of. I knew there were expectations. But I wanted to embrace them. I wanted the pressure. I sought to use it to fuel me as motivation. When I won Olympic gold, in a new Olympic record time of 12.35s, I probably didn't realise at the time the magnitude of what I had just achieved. To this day, the olympic record still stands. We all have the power to be a positive influence 🙏 let’s continue to make each other better. I can’t wait to achieve even more next decade.
