Photo by @ジミー・チン | There is a feeling of absurdity in climbing big mountains, when the ground feels far below and you’re still fighting your way upward. Alpine climbing is an exercise in risk assessment and motivation, and it often conjures up the existential questions of life. The edge between success and failure is thin. There is not much room for miscalculation. It is living in that tension that brings clarity. This was taken in the Garhwal Himalaya in India. For more images of mountain climbs follow @ジミー・チン.
