These shrimp called “cleaner shrimp” normally service fish that come to their “cleaning station”, a spot on the reef where the shrimp are waiting. But they recognize a human mouth as a good source of food as well and happily jumped into my son Russell’s mouth when he opened it for them on this dive in Bali a while back.
