One of the greatest gifts Ive ever gotten was a lesson on setting boundaries. It’s a skill you have to use to sharpen but when done correctly is beautiful like a symphony. I used to feel very discouraged, taking the all-or-nothing mentality too far, then I discovered greener pastures called “the middle ground” “compromise” surrounded by forgiveness and compassion, and the only way to get there is through a small windy road called “communication”. Lol! Navigating life is hard, maintaining friendships is hard, meeting new friends is hard! Forgiveness is hard! Realizing no one can read your mind and you have to communicate your heart, man that can be so frustrating! 😄😃 I just want to encourage you to write your own narrative. If you crave control, take accountability. We are capable of being in total control of our own actions, no one else’s, so navigate wisely. Choose your friends wisely. You are a sum of your 5 closest friends, does that scare you or excite you? That really used to scare me! until I made some necessary changes. Reach out to the people you miss. Get closure wether that means forgiving them, forgiving yourself, talking to them or just talking with God about it. Manifest an epic community. Celebrate the people you love.
