It's really tempting for us when we feel afraid, or when we see something threatening in our lives, whether it's physically or personally, to want to fight the thing that we're afraid of or run away from it; to focus on and then deal with the problem. It's the most normal thing in the world for us. We're very tempted to go down that road. ⁠

However, the most productive, life giving, victorious thing we can do is to not face the problem, necessarily, but actually look to the One who actually has the answer before the problem ever arrived. Instead of trying to understand and dismantle and fight fear, how about we ignore it completely, and give ourselves to the nature and power and provision that love brings us, and let Him inform us of what's true, of how to move forward, of what we want to be motivating us. From that place, fear goes away. We don't have to fight it. It just disappears.
