It’s nice to hit the restart button once a year, even if you’re thriving, it helps to take a step back, evaluate, set goals, and execute. This was the first year in 9 years that I did NOT release ANY MUSIC!! And I am so so sorry for that, there were a few very scary and unfortunate health bumps in the road, and an artistic sound that kept evolving (and I wanted to see where that went). The hardest part about releasing music is the illusion that ONE song represents you as an artist, it’s pretty intense trying to narrow down a sound that defines you (if you know you know) so instead of rushing it I decided to take my time, stop worrying about self-judgment or how people will perceive me/my art, and get back to a place where I’m simply making music that I would like to listen to! I spent a lot of time making music for other artists (big announcements soon!) and teaching kids how to produce and song write at our Kawaii Nation Slam Jam kids camps, also I had my first art show for my paintings 😃 but in 2019 I’m refocusing back on RELEASING songs so STARTING Jan 6 (my birthday) you guys will have a little taste of what’s to come! I am so excited! Thank you guys for checking me and reminding me how long it’s been and making sure I know you still care 😂😂😂 I love you guys more than I can express you really keep me going through hard times and fast times, always lifting my spirits so hopefully I can lift yours! I am really excited and grateful. Happy new year (thanks for reading till the end) 😁😇💭 2019 let’s get it!!
