This forest is amazing and lives from ancient times. The Phytoncide exist in this forest which are antimicrobial allelochrmic valatile organic compounds derived from plants. And I can feel the aroma of this forest heals our body and soul. This is exactly therapeutic walk in a forest. I really like this place, as you take a nice deep breath and walking forward, you will see the rear shrine, the Spirit Rock, deers which are related to Kasuga Grand Shrine. This shrine is dedicated to Takemikazuchi, Shinto god, who is the strongest god of war in Japanese myth. There is a prayer for victory of Kashima Antlers , Japanese professional football club. So many spots to see in this shrine. When you visit all Togoku Sansha ( three main shrines in Kanto area) , you can collect their red ink official stamps in each three shrines and you will get an souvenir. Also there is a charm from each three shrines and if you get all three, it completes as one charm. You can enjoy visiting them all three.
