鹿島神宮、香取神宮という存在のせいか、少し目立たない存在だけど、逆にコンパクトで凄く居心地のいい場所と感じた東国三社の最後の一つがこの息栖神社⛩
国譲りの交渉に向かう鹿島、香取に祀られてる2人の神様を出雲まで道案内したのが、この息栖神社に祀られている神様。なので交通安全などのご利益や、荒々しい2人の神様の間を取りまとめた存在なので、物事を円満に解決したい人にはうってつけの場所。
樹齢千年越えの夫婦杉や、パワーを貰えるというオガタマの木、一の鳥居のところにある忍潮井と呼ばれる２つの井戸は、底の瓶が見えると幸運が訪れる、など見所が沢山あったよ。
東国三社参りは、関東のお伊勢参りと言われているので、是非３社とも訪れてほしいな。

I thought Ikisu Shrine, which is one of the Tohgoku Sansha ( three main shrines in Kanto area), is so cozy and peaceful even this shrine is kind of low profile comparing other two, Kashima Jingu and Katori Jingu.
The deity of this shrine guided the deity of Kashima and Katori while they were on their way to the land offering. Therefore the deity of Ikisu Shrine is known as traffic safety and amicable settlement.
There were a lot of sightseeing points, such as the couple cedar which is over 1,000years old and the famous Michelia of good fortune. Also there are a couple of well , called “Oshioi” at the first Torii (gate), if you can see the vase at the bottom, the good luck will come to you. Visiting Togoku Sansha is known as Ise pilgrimage in Kanto area. You should visit these three shrines. You really can get the great positive power!!!
