Progress isn’t always physical. I used to look back at old photos of myself and think fuck I used to be so tiny and lean, and used to put myself down and be hard on myself for not looking how I used to look. But then I remember what it took for me to get there and look like that, I remember how damaged my metabolism was and how restricted I was with everything I put in my body, I remember I used to make sure I worked out 2-3 times a day to burn off every single calorie. And I remember how unfulfilled I felt every day the first and last thing I thought about upon waking was always my stress about training and diet.
But NOW I have progressed so much mentally, physically I have grown, built muscle and gained fat but I am healthy - I have no food restrictions (except intolerances) and I enjoy my lifestyle 100 x more. I don’t binge, I don’t feel sorry for myself or punish myself and I am so much stronger in the gym! Yeah I am thicker but my body & mind is so much happier 🙇🏽‍♀️ no need to worry about comparing yourself to anyone else because the best thing you can be is yourself. Don’t get caught up on the past or what was; focus on what is! Right now 👊🏽 and you will grow
