This will be my 5th year teaching. Prior to getting my teaching license I was a crime scene investigator for a local jurisdiction. I felt that I was helping children and families at the end of life but that I could have a greater impact sooner in their life. I entered into a career switched program and now I couldn’t imagine working in a different field. I love guiding students as they become independent thinkers that care about their community and participate in the world around them.
